After taking a hiatus from couture back in 2012, Riccardo Tisci has launched the label back to it’s glorious lines with their Haute Couture show coming even before Paris Fashion Week had officially started. Tapping into the label’s best models, Givenchy had stars like Kendall Jenner, Candice Swanepoel, Joan Smalls and the legendary Naomi Campbell walking in the show.

With ultra winged eyeliner and sleek locks pushed back with headbands, the models showed us what Givenchy has designed for their comeback Couture line. With lots of lace, sheer and fringe, the collection is relaxed and fun. Models also donned lots of religious jewellery as well a huge hoop earrings. Naomi Campbell was the obvious standout in the show, walking the runway in a sparkly pin stripe blazer and little else, showing that she still has her ultra fierce streak.

The men’s collection was emblazoned with prints of Jesus on pants and shirts, and Riccardo has spoken with men’s skirts staying in the collection for the next season – Kanye will be pleased. Star spangled denim and crisp whites are also back as well as a classic bomber jacket for those chilly evenings.

Guests were very pleased with the mixture of Givenchy Haute Couture and Givenchy Men’s collections being shown, with mama Kris Jenner being particularly proud, snapping pictures of Kendall from the front row.
