Incredible shoe designer Christian Louboutin has revolutionised the way the footwear industry sees nude coloured heels with his latest ballet flat collection. And it’s about time, shall we say?

After years of black or light skinned ‘nude’ apparel, underwear companies caught on to the fact that not every woman, in fact most, don’t fit between two norms. Now, the Christian Louboutin ballet flats collection has joined the force with the release of The Nude Collection, which features seven different shades so that most women can find one that fits.
The Solasofia flat is a classic, Parisian silhouette with a pointed toe design made of soft leather for ultimate comfort. The Nudes collection was released in 2013 with four different heel styles in five different shades. Now, two new shades have been added to the collection and a total of five styles for women to choose their perfect nude shoe, no matter what their skin tone.
To add to the beautiful prospect of closing the gap of nudes, the advertising campaign is ballet inspired with tutus and leotards in the nude shade to match the flat.
