You know you’ve got a winning campaign when it features luxury power pair Cara Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse. The best friends, who also live together, star in Burberry’s Autumn Winter 2014 Campaign, the brand for which they walked the runway in London Fashion Week earlier this year.
Shot by Mario Testino, the campaign is about the artistic spirit of the collection, focused on hand painted pieces, monogrammed ponchos and the all round creative folklore theme. It also focuses on classic Burberry pieces such as the famous trench coat and iconic Burberry check.
Bold prints flared in the wind for the campaign, really showcasing the clothing, but of course, not completely outshining the models. Cara and Suki were joined by Malaika Firth, Callum Bell, Oli Green and Tarun Nijjer.
Burberry’s Chief Creative Christopher Bailey, speaking about the collection, has said that “a dynamic British cast brings the artistic spirit of the campaign to life with the iconic Burberry trench coat at its heart”, which is a very accurate way to describe the campaign.
