Smoothies and juices are a great way to get your daily intake of fruit and veg quickly and easily. Delicious strawberries and bananas can mask the taste of antioxidant-rich green leaves that might be harder digest in salad form.
So do yourself (and your body a favour) with a few of our lush juice ideas:
Banana Milkshake
Take a large ripe banana, a couple of blueberries, splodge of greek yogurt and some low-fat milk. Add some spinach and blitz.
Green Juice
Simple! Just grab everything green and grind up. Avos, cucumber, kale, celery, apples, limes. Add berries or any soft fruits for a dash of sweetness.
Water Juice
Need a bit of assistance getting your water intake? Well, shake up some watery fruits to reach your 8 glasses a day with more ease. Watermelons, pineapples, cucumbers and coconut water all work beautifully.
Cleanser
Incorporate lemons, ginger and anything thing else that has cleansing qualities for an inner detox. Lemon adds bite to berry-based juices while ginger works harmoniously with oranges.
