Billboard Music Awards Red Carpet 2016

Billboard Music Awards Red Carpet

Is it possible? Have we truly come across the worst red carpet ever? The Billboard Music Awards red carpet is an assault on our eyes, from unfitted shoulders to overly sparkled silver, we don’t know where to start.

MORE: Best Dressed On The Met Gala Red Carpet

Far from the best dressed of the Billboard Music Awards, we can only manage to show you the better dressed, the bad and the just plain weird outfits that celebrities decided were the best to strut down the red carpet in.

Pop veteran Britney Spears showed off her hot bod by appearing on the red carpet in, well, pretty much lingerie. Her lacy and sheer leotard, thigh high boots and sprawling train showed everyone that those pictures were definitely not photoshopped, but it really isn’t her best look.

Rihanna, usually so fierce, so stylish, so not this bad. Rihanna’s terribly fitted khaki dress and awkward shoes made us think of puppets and is going to give us nightmares forever.

Meghan Trainor was doing her best impression of a disco ball in this offensive, shiny thing, while host of the night Ciara also chose from sparkle with a lot of side-boob. Just a hint, our our books, side-boob doesn’t get you anywhere.

Demi Lovato, while mixing up her textures quite a bit, actually looked quite good in her kooky outfit. At first look, it’s a little confusing, but when you give it a chance, Demi’s tweed-lace-leather, naughty-office outfit is pretty stylin’.

It seems that Zendaya forgot her actual dress. Or maybe it’s because underwear seems to be trending on this red carpet. We’re not feeling her nude crop top and maxi skirt combo, but her sleek hair looked gorgeous.

And last but not least, we are thoroughly confused by Jessica Alba’s gothic inspired turtleneck dress with her thigh high suede boots and tight top knot. Why, Jessica, why?
