Aussie television and movie stars showed everyone how stylish they could be, bringing some show stopping outfits to the red carpet at the AACTA Awards last week.

Host and all-round beauty Cate Blanchett was on the best dressed list with a pink, silky Alexander McQueen kaftan gown. Admitting she wasn’t wearing underwear and that she rode the bus to stand and avoid crinkles, Blanchett’s remarks were justified by her stunning gown and soft waves.
The Wonderland girls asserted their great style, with Anna Bramford in a white cut out gown, complete with thigh split. Red lips and nails gave that extra edge to the purity of the gown. Jessica Tovey looked great in a plunging, black jumpsuit with a capelet and hair slicked to the side, while Brooke Satchwell also looked elegant in black. A blonde and pregnant Emma Lung showed off her baby bump in a black silky gown, with a popping red lip.
Samantha Jade was wearing an impressively snug dress by Pallas Couture, showing off her slim figure. The soft pink gown erupted with tulle past the knees, giving a gorgeous mermaid silhouette. Rose Byrne also showed off her fab figure in a Toni Maticevski coordinate with a ruffled crop top and an a-line skirt.
