Each year, the Cannes Film Festival has many celebrities come in to walk the red carpet. And each year, as the fashion and style evolves, we sit back and stare in awe. Here are some of our favourite beauty looks from the red carpet.

Aishwarya Rai
Aishwarya Rai isn’t just called the most beautiful woman in the world for no reason. She turned heads at the Cannes Film Festival and didn’t go unnoticed. Her look was on point and I have to say that her look was my favourite. She kept a flawless base and had full brows that framed her face. At the age of 41, she is still rocking it and it just goes to show that full brows really do give you a youthful appearance. Her eye makeup wasn’t heavy and it wasn’t minimal. She opted for lined eyes, mascara and neutral eyeshadow shades to add some drama. Her lips were of a berry shade mixed with red, which gave her a beautiful pout. All I can say about her look is, “breathtaking”! Who can say that she is over 40?
Lupita Nyong’o
Lupita Nyong’o rocked a beautiful updo and complimented it with a beautiful headband. Her makeup made a statement as she went with a bright fuchsia lip that did all the talking, as her eye makeup was kept fairly natural. She had full brows and this was the icing to the cake as it really framed her face and the highlighter beneath the brow bone perfectly emphasised her stunning arch.
Karlie Kloss
When I first saw Karlie’s photos from the red carpet, I was stunned. Her cheekbones looked perfect as her contouring was on point. Her eye makeup was minimal and kept natural with the use of mascara to open up her eyes. The bold red colour stood out and tied the look together well.
Emma Stone
Emma looked like a goddess at the Film Festival. She had a flawless complexion and beautifully pink flushed cheeks. Her lips were a natural soft pink shade and her eyes had all our attention. The side-parted bun complimented her makeup look and made her look oh so graceful!
Joan Smalls
Joan’s facial features are the epitome of perfection. Her cheekbones were beautifully complimented by adding a subtle shade of blush. Her eyes looked amazing as she had a shimmery neutral smokey eye and emphasised them by lining her eyes and using mascara. She kept her lips natural and went for a nude shade, which worked nicely with the whole look.
