Haute Couture Fashion Week is full of amazing pieces that we are just enchanted by but not quite capable of purchasing.
Luckily, having a way with makeup isn’t something that costs too much money, so we’re easily able to replicate some of the best beauty trends that emerged at Haute Couture Fashion Week.
Pastels were the colour of choice for many of the Haute Couture shows at Fashion Week. Versace was a stand out with their light green shades swept over eyelids to play along with the wood nymph feel of the floaty collection. Dior and Schiaparelli also embraced the look with candy floss and pale bubblegum tones, respectively.
Chanel and Armani Prive chose bold colours to accentuate the lips at both their shows with Chanel choosing a mandarin base while Armani went with a very bright pink. A bold lip is always a great beauty accessory to dress up a look.
Thin brows have been on the out for quite a while now, but Haute Couture Fashion Week just reiterated the downward trend, with thick, natural brows all over the runway wherever you turned. Time to put down the tweezers and let those caterpillars grow out, or better yet, invest in some great eyebrow products to give you what your mama didn’t.
