While pastels are so in this season in the form of clothing, why not channel some feminine softness and add them to your makeup drawer? Like clothing of the same colours, pastel makeup is fresh and attention grabbing without being over the top (when done correctly) and exquisitely chic.

Soft greens, blues and yellows on the eyes and nudes and baby pinks on the lips are a recipe for candy-coated success in the beauty stakes. If you’re feeling particularly brave, coloured brows and pastel lips in greens and blues are seemingly out-there, but can be worked into your makeup.
A key to not going over the top is that when it comes to pastels, less really is more. Keep the colouring simple use colours that complement your eye colour and skin tone. When using blues and greens on the lid, balance it out with a soft pastel pink to highlight the brow bone and inner corner of your eye. Stick to enhancing your eyes, rather than drawing attention to your eyeshadow.
If you feel that pastel eyeshadow is too overpowering, or just doesn’t suit you, you can also try a simpler method of using a pastel eyeliner with a seemingly natural face.
And if all else fails, pastel nails and accessories will still have you on-trend!
