The king of cosmetics has been rumoured to be coming to Australia for years; but now, it’s finally happening! Sephora is set to be opening their first Australian store in Sydney with 25 stand alone stores to follow in major cities around the country.
Turning down offers to team up with David Jones and Myer, Sephora will be flying solo when they open doors next year. With annual sales of $4.4 billion dollars, it doesn’t seem like Sephora will have any issues convincing Australians. Previously not shipping to Australia, we’re sure Sephora has a long line of customers who will be thrilled to no longer wait until overseas trips to stock up on cosmetics.
The beauty giant has secured a three-level spot in Pitt Street Mall in Sydney and plan to open doors before Christmas this year, which will certainly be perfect timing for sales.
Sephora is renowned for their endless range of cosmetics, amazing customer service and abundance of samples. We’re certain that Sephora will be huge competition for retailers and we can’t wait to find out more details as they arrive.
